Dry Chem on Wings

This is the aftermath of a failed prototype. These 12' wings had over 40 feet of 2" wick running up and down the spikes. Upon their first ignition, I was engulfed in flames, and had to be put out with an ABC extinguisher. Some of the powder hit me straight in the face. It got everywhere, as you can see in this photo.

I've always wondered, what does that stuff taste like? I am quite familiar with CO2's qualities. :)

I hope your eyes wern't hit.
