what types of metals tolerate heat nicely? any tips on crafting my first pair of fire palms?

Wed, January 16, 2008 - 12:54 PMPalms are actually really tough to get just right. You have to balance proximity, flame size, reflector, intended use, fuel storage volume, etc pretty exactly or you' teeter of the line of burning your hands or not having the flame you want. Pretty tricky, actually.
My best advice is to decide on how much show you want out of them (2 mins on lamp oil, or 1.5 on alcohol, or 12 minutes with anything, etc) then start building from there.
